Peiyan Xiao, doctoral student, graduated from the School of Information Science and Engineering at ECUST. He is pursuing a direct doctoral degree as part of the Engineering Master’s and Doctoral Program Reform. His primary research focus is the optimization of 28nm process devices. He also has some expertise in web front-end and back-end development.

He used to be an intern at the Economic Crime Investigation Department in Third Research Institute of the Ministry of Public Security, PRC. He participated in the development of a platform for evaluating crimes related to virtual encrypted currencies, which operates on domestically manufactured devices. This platform was provided to front-line law enforcement agencies to combat crimes involving money laundering and other illegal activities utilizing virtual cryptocurrencies.
